The T-STorM32’s approach to encoder support is explained in the article “What is T-STorM32 about?”. It uses a main STorM32 controller board, NT Motor-Encoder modules, and a camera NT IMU module.

 

From the STorM32 controller’s perspective, each motor and its NT Motor-Encoder module are treated as a single unit, so the controller doesn’t need to manage their internal details. This means setup happens in two steps: first, you configure the “NT Motor-Encoder module + motor” unit, and then you adjust the settings on the STorM32 controller board.
